Nylastex is a family-owned South Australian advanced manufacturing company. With capabilities in plastic injection moulds, special purpose built equipment, precision machining and components, we provide services to a diverse range of industries, including Aviation, Agriculture, Construction, Defence, Food and Beverage, Medical, Transport, Mining and Renewable Energy.

At Nylastex, we have developed a reputation for innovative thinking and consistent high quality machining processes of complex products and components. These qualities have allowed us to retain and build a diverse customer base, away from the automotive industry, over the last decade. This diversification, coupled with laser scanning, 3D design, high-tech equipment and highly-skilled qualified personnel, gives us the capability to complete projects from concept to final commissioning, followed by after sale service and repairs.

CAPABILITIES

At Nylastex, our mindset is based on continuous improvement and investment in technology.  Over time we have acquired certain specialised equipment capable of machining components up to 480mm diameter x 2000mm long on CNC Lathes and 3200mm x 2200mm travel on CNC Mills with integrated 4th axis.

The latest investment is the Okuma LB3000EX-II-BMYC Multi Axis CNC Lathe with OSP-P300L Control complete with full-length bar feeder and product unloader.  This machine complements two other similarly optioned machines, and also has additional features including ECO suite energy saving functionality.

Through continual investment in technology, high-tech equipment, excellent software and a dedicated team that enjoys a challenge, we have the capability to supply industries with a comprehensive range of machining processes and complete projects from concept to completion.  We undertake projects of all sizes, from manufacturing special fasteners as small as 8mm for Defence to precision machining 9m shafts for Mining.  We manufacture equipment for Agriculture, plastic injection moulds for the Food and Beverage, Waste Management and Medical Industries.
